Scurion® in a hot cave in SicilyIn November 2011 the team of La Venta tested a Scurion®-1300 under the extreme conditons of
The air temperature in the first chamber of the cave (the seats area): 36.96 °C and at -20 (the pots area): 37.03 °C. Humidity was slightly over 100% (presence of internal stable cloud). Three visits and tests in the cave have taken place. The model used was the Scurion®-1300. The lamp was intentionally used without the “Heatsink” accessory, the heat dissipator, in order to test it in the most extreme conditions. Impressions: The Scurion®-1300 showed to be strong and very practical. Excellent behaviour in any condition, no sign of structural default, warming in the standard considering the cave temperature, perfect working of the light selector. Scurion® may be considered an totally reliable light system even in extreme environmental conditions.
