Scurion® gives you a smooth, high power ambient light. The angle is so wide that the entire human field of vision is covered. Moving your head to light up something is "passé" - just move your eyes as you would do at daylight.

For finding your way or generally seeing farther, Scurion® lamps also feature a very intense, spot.

Our 'dive' model has the same spot angle as our caving lights which proved to be very nice in overhead situations.

If you wish to communicate with your spot check out our 'tecdive' model that has an ultranarrow spot!

On the top of that:

Both LEDs are configurable to fit your personal preferences. If the visibility changes during your dive...just change your Scurion® light settings in a second - it's a peace of cake!

High quality is very important to us. Some elements like the CNC machined lamp case are easily recognizable, others are not. See what's inside our lamps:

A high power wide angle LED gives a uniform room light, evenly filling your field of view completely.

A large, high performance spot optics collimates the beam, yielding a very narrow spotlight.

Microprocessor control:

  • Li-ion battery supervision
  • overtemperature protection
  • transport lock
  • flexible programmable brightness settings
  • keeps all settings without battery
  • settings can be locked (disables programming)

High efficiency control:

  • Current regulated - constant brightness throughout the whole runtime
  • Very high efficiency - up to 95 percent
  • Almost no standby current: leave battery connected

LED bar displays battery charge, programming status and other information.

Large cooling fins enables efficient operation at high power. See FAQ...

No rim restricting the light output: Glass extends to the full size of the lamp, prevents "tunnel" effect, gives maximum light angle from wide angle LED. Don't worry about scratching the edge: The glass is extremely durable and has a scratch resistant coating.

Scurion® gives you smooth, high power ambient light. The angle is so wide that the entire human field of vision is covered with light. Moving your head to light up something is "passé" - just move your eyes as you would do at daylight! With this you can comfortably read your orienteering map without loosing your night vision because of too much light thrown back from the map.

For finding your way or generally seeing farther, Scurion® lamps also feature a very intense, spot that is adjusted to the abient light in a way that there is a seamless transition between both of the lights - nothing hinders you to see what is near and far ahead of you.

On the top of that: Both LEDs are configurable to fit your personal preferences.

Those that still remember carbide lamps know that lighting was generally good at that time:

A group of cavers with carbide lamps would illuminate smaller passages evenly, giving a nice feeling of the room as a whole. Electric lamps often only have a narrow light angle in order to render their low light output into something halfway useful. But then, the room illumination is gone - each caver has a small circle of light, the rest is darkness.

Scurion® brings the room illumination back with its very wide, smooth, high power room light. For finding hidden passages or generally seeing farther, Scurion® lamps also feature a very intense, narrow spot - see if this hole continues in 50m or not...

What is good for cavers is good for anybody working in the dark - you can act almost under daylight conditions!
