Tiny improvements like that Wide angle LED is tilted for optimal working illumination distribution, there is groove a in the battery case for better lid case hold. There is a better opportunity of tilting whole light down. There is only one drawback - if I leave from my friends in the cave, they complain that the sun go down :-). I have again the best caving light in the world. I would recommend this lamp to everyone. This is worth every single cent. "

"Da ich vor dem Kauf meiner Scurion 1500 noch einige Bedenken betreffs Warm- oder Kaltlicht hatte und du mich beraten hast, gebe ich dir gerne noch kurz eine Rückmeldung zu meinen ersten Erfahrungen. Ich habe die Lampe jetzt bereits einige Male benutzt, unter anderem auch für einen ausgiebigen Fotorundgang und kann nur sagen, dass ich begeistert bin. Zum Ersten ist die Lichtausbeute einfach genial, zum Zweiten ist auch das Kaltweiss recht neutral, bildet keine Farbsäume und ist daher auch für anspruchsvolle Fotos bestens geeignet. Zum Dritten ist die Akkukapazität auch für längere Touren mit gutem Licht ausreichend. Die Lampe lässt sich auch problemlos reinigen und ist somit wirklich das Beste was ich je in den Fingern hatte. En Norvège je l’ai utilisée dans des conditions extrême de température (jusqu’à -45°C), pendant plusieurs heures chaque nuit, souvent à son maximum alors que j’entrainais mes chiens de traineaux. Je l'ai utilisée ce matin en pleine nuit pour la course bi quotidienne de mes chiens de traineau et j'ai été extrêmement surprise par sa puissance, sa fiabilité, ses différents niveaux d'éclairage.
Grâce à cette lampe, je peux enfin naviguer en pleine forêt de nuit sans crainte de finir encastrée dans un arbre (ou alors, la lampe n'y sera pour rien !) ou au fond d'un ravin.

„"I was canyoning in Sligo, Ireland a while back and while going down a slide, my helmet fell off with scurion attached under a whitewater eddy. Lots of attempts to dive and get it failed - there was a lot of cold, fast water so after a while I unfortunately had to give up and wander home. The next day I returned to see that the water levels had dropped so it was a good time for a rescue mission. I was sure that i had probably lost the helmet/scurion permanently or else that the light would not be alright after a day's underwater in some pretty heavy water flow. After some more exploring (and very cold water diving) helped by Des McNally, I was very happy to find my helmet and light attached. What is even more impressive that after 27 hours of being 1m underwater in some very heavy and cold water flow, the scurion turned on first time (with 5 bars power!) . There was not a drop of water in the battery housing or in the main light connection! Now to fix that helmet :-)"

"I have just returned from a 6-days caving trip in the deepest cave of Romania. A tried the Scurion first there. My first impressions are: In fact, I did not belive that its light could substitute the karbide light but sometimes I forget that I wear electric lamp. For me the best position was the WA in 3rd step but I used the spot 4 many times. It lights up about 50 m. I have used the lamp about 12 hours per day, two batteries were almost enough for the 6 days. About the WA: Sometimes I have seen the shadows of my hair!"
